Hi I’m Ayumi, I’m half Japanese half Thai and live in Thailand, but I often spend holidays in Japan.

Thailand is a country in Southeast Asia with coasts on the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Thailand is a magnet for travellers around the world because We have a lot of beautiful beaches, great food, amazing festivals etc. Many travellers want to visit the beach in Thailand to see white sand, blue sky and sea. That make you feel like in paradise. Thailand have many kinds of food. If you love spicy food, you will love Thai food. However, we also have a lot of Thai food that is not spicy for someone who cannot eat spicy food. For me, I would like to recommend everyone to try “Phad Thai”, that is a stir-fried rice noodle, it is one of dishes you must try when you go to Thailand. Have you ever heard about Songkran Festival? Songkran is the traditional Thai New Year, it is celebrated and run from 13th to 15th in April every year. During this period, you will enjoy local entertainments full of fun. People pour buckets of water over each other also some people use water gun to splash water.

Japan is an island country in East Asia, located in the Pacific Ocean, consisting of about 6,852 islands. Japan is one country that I very much want to recommend visiting. There are a lot of fascinating and multifaceted culture. If you are looking for something different you are sure to find it in Japan. Personally, I would like to recommend everyone visit Japan between March until May for see “Sakura”, which is a cherry blossom in Japanese word. That is the most popular time that tourist want to visit Japan. If you are lucky enough to be in Japan during cherry blossom is blooming you might be enjoying flower viewing. Japanese called “Hanami”, that you can bring your food to picnic under the cherry blossom and enjoy with pink Sakura all around you.
