Take the RailAir bus from the Heathrow central bus station and it will take less than an hour to arrive at Reading Station and costs approximately £14 for a single ticket.
Take the train from the airport to Liverpool Street station, then the underground to Paddington, and then the train to Reading Station. This takes about 2¼ hours and costs approximately £35 for a single ticket.
If you are in homestay accommodation the hosts may meet you at the station or may advise you to take a taxi to the house if they are not free to meet you at the station. Someone from the household will be there to greet you at the house when you arrive.
